Dealing with holiday grief from a different perspective. Thanksgiving is generally the time of year where we gather with loved ones and break bread. This time at the dinner table you may have an empty chair and that could be hard to cope with alone. At Butterfly Effect Counseling we encourage you to adjust your focus away from the absent body and try to find comfort in the idea that your loved one gets to sit at the table with God and other angels to feast this Thanksgiving. Whenever you feel your grief weighing heavy try sharing the BEST memories you have about your loved one as those last forever in your heart. You don't have to grieve alone we are here to walk alongside you until you gather your bearings at your own pace at BEC.
